I am often asked, "How do you engage your students?" It's a heady relationship. I get kids to work harder by giving them more work. Love me or hate me, I treat them all the same, those who are at the top end or those who struggle with the challenges. I struggled so I know what it is like.

About Allegro Orchestras
Founder and Artistic Director Viktoras Prizgintas, leads four groups of gifted young aspiring artists from the second to 12th grades. The Allegro Chamber Orchestras perform often and can always be heard either in established concert series in the county, at public malls and museums. Described by Chris Farlekas of the Times Herald Record as "...one of Orange County's treasures", the orchestras are gaining recognition throughout the county.
In addition to local performances the orchestras have toured as far south as Florida to perform at Disney's Magic Kingdom, Washington DC, where they have given performances at the White House and on the West Front Terrace of the Capitol, and Boston which featured appearances at the State House and the JFK Library. There has also been a Austria/Belgium Tour to celebrate our growth and service to the community.
According to founder and Artistic Director, Viktoras A. Prizgintas, "Our goals are defined more by the endless possibilities of the student who is eager to learn and exceed our imagination. With that in mind, the goal serves more as momentum in a direction to guide rather than a finishing point to reach."
